Part of the A320 Family, the A319 has an optimised cabin cross-section - the widest single-aisle fuselage on the market. Furthermore, the superior cabin size and shape allow larger overhead stowage to be fitted for faster boarding and deplaning as well as greater convenience. The A319 was first delivered in April 1996. In addition to the standard 124-seat model, Airbus offers an option allowing increased seating efficiency with typically up to 156 seats.
