ALFC acquires new technology Boeing and Airbus Aircrafts for its Leasing Portfolio. The company has a two-fold mission: The leasing of new technology aircraft to credit worthy airlines and the leasing of select engine types to airlines.
According to the Boeing June, 2011 and Embraer forecast, the airlines will require approximately 33,500 new jets over the next 2 decades at a delivery cost of approximately $4 Trillion. The Embraer forecast specifies that approximately 7,225 new regional jets will be required over the next 20 years. A significant portion of these airplanes will be leased from commercial aircraft leasing companies.
